A message from our founder

Every child deserves the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful, connected, purposeful, and full of possibility.

Founder · Physical Therapist

I founded Welldom with a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful, connected, purposeful, and full of possibility.

As a physical therapist and someone who has spent years working alongside children, families, educators, and other professionals, I have learned that therapy is about so much more than improving a skill or reaching a goal on a treatment plan.

It is about life. It is about helping a child communicate with someone they love, walk into a classroom with confidence, play with friends, participate in family activities, discover something they enjoy, make choices, build meaningful relationships, experience greater independence, and, most importantly, feel that they truly belong.

That is the kind of impact I wanted Welldom to have.

I believe we should see the child before the diagnosis. Every child comes with their own personality, strengths, preferences, dreams, and way of experiencing the world. Our responsibility is not to change who they are, but to understand them, support them, remove barriers, and help create opportunities for them to thrive.

I also believe that families should never feel like they are navigating this journey alone. Children live their lives at home, at school, and in their communities — not in a therapy room. The best therapy happens when clinicians, families, educators, and other professionals work together with respect, openness, and a shared purpose.

At Welldom, we strive for both clinical excellence and genuine human connection. I want our team to be highly skilled and evidence-informed, but also compassionate, curious, humble, and willing to truly listen.

Most importantly, children deserve dignity, voice and belonging while exploring opportunities to discover what they can do.

The measure of our work is therefore not simply how many goals we achieve or how many therapy sessions we provide. It is what those sessions make possible in a child's life — gaining more confidence, independence, connection, participation and possibility.

That is why I built Welldom. I want to build an organization where doing good work and doing good for people are inseparable. A place where our clinicians feel proud of the work they do, families feel genuinely supported, and children are seen for their possibilities rather than defined by their challenges.

Because ultimately, the goal of therapy is not therapy. The goal is life.

And I hope Welldom can help make that life a little fuller, a little more connected, and a little more joyful — for every child and family we have the privilege to serve.
